Orna International is the pre-eminent agency for background screening, compliance, vulnerable point analysis, and due diligence checks.

Orna International earned its space in the worldwide pre-employment screening market back in 2005. Our founder, Mr John Westall CFE developed a way of reducing fraud in workplaces, by screening candidates prior to employment. Mr Westall was a member of Scotland Yard (Flying Squad), and served for many years in the corporate banking world. Seeing fraud occur right before his eyes in the banking sector opened his eyes to the vulnerability of businesses as a whole. He brought his concept to market, and has built a worldwide reach for our pre-employment screening platform. John’s legacy lives on, as we have adopted his ethos and built the business further, developing new ways to keep up with fraudsters.

Georgia has a strong background in small and medium sized Australian business operations. Her years of working with small business owners in the retail Pharmacy sector has provided her with insight into frontline healthcare and the challenges of management in high pressure circumstances. She has brought skills in change management (SME); team & management development; and the development of compliance policies and procedures applicable to unique environments. Risk mitigation comes with the territory as is identifying vulnerabilities. Her background in HR for small business, and her entrepreneurship experience is unique and unmatched.

Mark Norton MSc MACFE

Mark brings a wealth of knowledge to the area of pre-employment screening and risk mitigation. His history in Australian Government procurement, systems management and programming has set solid foundations for fraud investigation. As a past senior manager in our West Australian Health (Heath Support Services) payroll, Mark brings maturity and oversight to our system development ensuring our clients receive accurate results in a timely manner.
